Sancus appoints business development manager

Sancus has appointed Clare Cuff to their London based team as business development manager, joining the company as the seventh recruit to their UK sales team in the last 12 months.

The specialist property bridging and development lender has expanded significantly since a change in senior management in 2021 as they implement an aggressive growth strategy across the UK and Ireland.

This has involved creating two dedicated teams, one based in the North (led by Mel Fourie) and the other in the South (led by Jaxon Stevens), overseen by Sales Director, Richard Whitehouse.

Clare has a wide range of experience and proven track record in business development and relationship management with expertise in identifying new business opportunities and managing and delivering property finance.

She started her career with Barclays Bank where she progressed to premier banking relationship manager over 12 years with the company.

Responsibilities included building key relationships with clients and providing solutions to complex financial situations whilst building a portfolio of business, specialising in mortgages and lending.

Clare then moved to Together as regional development director where she built her own network of professional introducers, supporting them with secured property lending, including residential and development finance.

Clare says:
