VIBE Finance and Manuka Media have confirmed the National Association for Commercial Finance Brokers (NACFB) as the headline sponsor for the first ever Women in Finance Retreat 2024.
This landmark event is scheduled to take place from 10th to 12th October 2024 and aims to address the gender imbalance within the finance sector by providing comprehensive support and networking opportunities for female professionals.
Kim McGinley, founder of VIBE Finance, and Rosalia Lazzara, leader of Manuka Media, are the masterminds behind this pioneering retreat.
They have curated an event designed to empower women in finance through a blend of personal development and business focused sessions.
The retreat promises to be a transformative experience for attendees, fostering a supportive community and promoting professional growth.
In addition to the NACFB, sponsorship has been secured from leading financial institutions including United Trust Bank, Allica Bank, Together, Octane Capital, Glenhawk, and Roma Finance.
Their support underscores the industry’s commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion within the finance sector.
Kim McGinley said:
“We are very excited to announce the NACFB as our headline sponsor.
Their support is a significant endorsement of our vision for the Women in Finance Retreat.
We look forward to providing further details in the coming weeks and months.”
Adrian Coles, NACFB Interim Chair, added:
“The NACFB is proud to support the inaugural Women in Finance Retreat.
Currently, just under 15% of commercial brokers are women, and as part of our efforts to champion intermediary-led lending, the NACFB has a responsibility to promote inclusivity and diversity.
We are committed to providing a platform for voices and ideas, ensuring that everyone in our industry feels represented and empowered.
This retreat is a vital step towards a more equitable finance sector, and we are honoured to be a part of it.”
