What is the best thing about being in the bridging finance business?

Helping find a solution to what can sometimes be a difficult problem. Everyone pulling together for a successful outcome.

What keeps you focused?

I don’t want to fail.

What qualities do you look for in your employees or colleagues?

Service to colleagues and clients. Hard work and humour in adversity.

Are you an optimist or a pessimist?

Neither – I am a Mod.

What did you want to be as a child?

I wanted to play for Man Utd. Then at 15 I realised that wasn’t going to happen.

What will be the greatest challenge facing the bridging finance industry in the coming months?

Lenders & Valuers standing their ground and not shaking like a new born puppy before that thing next year.

Who or what makes you laugh?

People that say Holistic. There is also a BBC comedy I have watched for years called Still Game that cracks me up.

Do you dread Monday mornings?

Not as much as I used to.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

My nose. I recently broke it.

With whom would you most like to have dinner?

Kelly Brook, Stephen Fry, Seth Macfarlane and Lee Mack. Nigella can do the cooking.
