What is the best thing about being in the bridging finance business?
Being able to work in such a fast-paced environment, and no two days are the same.
What keeps you focused?
Getting deals over the line for brokers/clients and being part of a team that contributes to Hope Capital’s success.
What qualities do you look for in your employees or colleagues?
Someone that is open and honest that you can trust and rely on, and a good sense of humour.
Are you an optimist or a pessimist?
I’d like to think I see the positive in most situations so I would say an optimist.
What did you want to be as a child?
At a younger age a dancer on Top of the Pops! But growing up I wanted to be a maths teacher.
What will be the greatest challenge facing the bridging/development finance industry in the coming months?
Brexit!
Who or what makes you laugh?
I’m easily amused, but Micky Flanagan never fails to make me laugh.
Do you dread Monday mornings?
I used to, but not since working at Hope Capital!
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
To procrastinate less.
With whom would you most like to have dinner?
My other half – doesn’t happen often with two young children! Failing that Anthony Joshua!
