Wharf Financial appoints commercial finance broker

Leigh on Sea based broker Wharf Financial has appointed industry veteran Simon King as commercial finance broker.

Simon brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to Wharf Financial having spent over 40 years with the Lloyds Banking Group, and 43 years in the banking industry.

During his time at Lloyds Bank, Simon founded and developed the SME Inward Investment Team, assisting the expansion programs of many hundreds of overseas based companies into the UK.

Simon’s passionate commitment to customer service led to the exponential growth of his team, as well as an intermediary network that spanned from Cape Town to San Francisco.

Following his departure from Lloyds, Simon completed some 18 months on a high profile banking remediation project, where he assessed complex complaints regarding commercial lending (property and trading) in the SME sector.
