Together expands intermediaries team with internal promotions
By Bridging Loan Directory
Together has announced the internal promotion of three key colleagues to its intermediaries team, in line with the property lender’s ambitious growth strategy.
Emma Barker has been appointed head of roving underwriters for personal finance, whilst Hannah Read is now commercial roving underwriter and Harrison Reeve telephone BDM.
Emma’s new role will see her running the day to day management of Together’s personal finance roving underwriters, including monitoring submission volumes, quality and turnaround times.
She has spent the majority of her career at Together, beginning her career as a 19-year-old administrative assistant, later working her way up to the underwriting team.
Emma said:
“I have been with the business for a total of 22 years now, and can honestly say I love working at Together.
The culture, the ambition, the resilience and the continued focus on delivering great outcomes for our customers and business partners is what makes us stand out from other lenders.
To have been a part of its growth is incredibly rewarding.
The business also matches my passion for change and development, we consistently challenge ourselves to make things better.”
Hannah Read joined the Cheadle-based lender seven years ago from estate agent Edward Mellor, where she was a mortgage administrator. Previously, she worked at Co-op bank as a customer service advisor.
Hannah said:
“Working in financial services was always my ambition, and so to have been given the opportunity to grow my career here is a huge honour.
Together really does have a family feel and I look forward to continuing to grow and progress.
We want to provide the best service here at Together, and I am excited to make a real difference in the field.”
Harrison Reeve started at Together at the beginning of 2024, bringing to the company nearly five years experience in the industry, starting his career working as a mortgage qualifier for Acumen Financial Advisors, whilst studying for a CeMAP qualification.
Harrison said:
“Having spent almost four years as a mortgage broker, I can relate to the challenges and needs of our intermediary partners.
My focus is on bridging the gap for new brokers joining us – especially those transitioning from a more traditional high-street background – whilst showcasing the unique lending opportunities we provide.”
Tanya Elmaz, director of intermediary sales, said:
“At Together, we place a lot of emphasis on our people, and these three appointments demonstrate our commitment to developing colleagues internally.
Emma, Hannah and Harrison are all much-valued members of the team, and the skills they will bring to their new positions will be invaluable.
Through expanding our intermediaries team, we hope to be able to work closer than ever with our broker partners, helping our customers achieve their property ambitions.”
