Together has reorganised its intermediary relations team into two dedicated specialist support teams for personal finance and commercial finance cases.

The lender has promoted experienced industry professional James Briggs to Head of Intermediary Sales for the specialist Personal Finance Team, leading a team of three specialist account managers working across the regions of mainland UK.

They will focus exclusively on distributing Together’s personal finance products; first and second charge mortgages, consumer buy-to-let (CBTL) and regulated bridging loans.

In addition, the lender has launched a dedicated UK-wide specialist commercial broker sales team, with finance experts Paula Purdy leading the team in the North and Tanya Elmaz in the South.

Their team will be responsible for relationships with key partners whose clients are looking for fast and flexible commercial finance, including non-regulated bridging loans, buy-to-let (BTL) and commercial mortgages.

James, who joined Together in January last year, said:

“I’m delighted to be taking up my new role at such an exciting time for our business. In terms of our personal finance growth, we have seen our volume of loan completions through our broker channel more than triple in a year.

“We want to continue this tremendous momentum by focusing on our key partners and generating opportunities with new partners by providing support to them through this new dedicated team of field-based colleagues.”

He will report to Alan Davison, Together’s Personal Finance Director of Distribution, while Paula and Tanya will report to Sundeep Patel, the lender’s Director of Sales.

Sundeep said:

“Together’s intermediary channel posted a record last quarter for lending volumes in March but, far from resting on our laurels, we are striving to continually improve our business performance.

Together’s decision to create two specialist sales team will enhance our commitment to our broker partners by building even better service and quality, developing mutually valuable relationships to get the best possible outcomes for their clients.”
