Mint Property Finance appoints senior business development manager

Specialist finance lender, Mint Property Finance, has welcomed Simon Micklethwaite to the business as senior business development manager, further expanding the Sales department within the business.

Joining from Reward Finance Group, Simon brings over 25 years finance industry experience to the specialist lender.

The hire follows the appointment of Steve Smith as Head of Sales two months ago.

Simon’s career began at HSBC where he spent 18 years in various roles including Iinternational business banking manager.

Simon then moved to Roma Finance where he took the role of business development manager, before stints at both Revverbank and Reward Finance Group where he was business development director for Yorkshire.

In his new role at Mint, Simon will be responsible for supporting ambitious growth plans by establishing and growing relationships with new brokers and professional introducers.

Commenting on Simon’s appointment, Mint’s Head of Sales, Steve Smith, said:
