LendInvest appoints new Head of Sales

LendInvest, the UK’s leading platform for mortgages, has announced it has hired a new Head of Sales, Paula Mercer, to provide leadership for the sales team and support the senior leadership team to deliver growth and key business objectives.

Paula joins LendInvest from Atom Bank, where she worked as Head of Intermediary Lending within the Residential and Commercial Lending team.

During her time at the bank, Paula helped set up the Mortgage lending department and launch their first digital mortgage.

With over 15 years experience in the finance industry, Paula has extensive experience in the UK intermediary market, and over the last 8 years Paula has focused predominantly on building relationships within the Residential & Commercial sector and delivered some key lending milestones.

Paula has previously held positions in Lloyds Banking Group, where she was a Business Development Manager.

Paula won Business Development of the year in 2018 & 19 at the Women’s Recognition Awards. She was awarded Elite Woman of the Year in 2022 with Mortgage Introducer and in the same year won Woman in Management at the Womens’ Recognition Awards.

At LendInvest Paula will be focused on supporting the Senior Leadership team to deliver the strategy, develop the lending side, execute the product growth plans and deliver on the imminent launch of residential mortgages.

This will be done by working closely with the Sales Team and Intermediaries.

This hire comes following the launch of LendInvest’s Residential Homeowner product, as the business looks to ramp up its product rollout to intermediary partners.
