LendInvest appoints fund manager

LendInvest, the UK’s leading platform for property finance, has announced the appointment of former CBRE Senior Director and Head of Loan Advisory, Anurag Sharma, pictured, as Fund Manager.

Anurag has worked with LendInvest in an advisory capacity for several years whilst leading the Loan Advisory team at CBRE Capital Advisors, the world’s largest commercial real estate services company.

During his time at CBRE, Anurag ran one of the largest loan valuation practices in Europe. As head of the debt valuation and underwriting team, he accumulated extensive experience of pricing debt portfolios across the capital stack. Anurag also executed a number of notable debt sale transactions across Europe to private equity and institutional buyers.

Anurag brings over 14 years’ financial services experience to the team, with 12 of those spent specialising in debt finance. Before joining CBRE in 2016, Anurag held structured finance positions at Barclays, Deloitte, and PwC.

At LendInvest Anurag is responsible for managing the multiple portfolios of assets for investors, including that of LendInvest’s flagship fund, the Real Estate Opportunity Fund. Additionally, Anurag sits on LendInvest’s Credit Committee playing an integral part in the business’ assessment of credit risk and deal viability across all loan types, with a particular emphasis on large and complex bridging loans.
