Hope Capital has announced the recruitment of three new sales appointments to join its team, as the firm prepares for its busiest year to date.

David Owen, Ben Lavelle and James McDonough all bring significant experience, which will be instrumental in providing brokers and borrowers with a superior level of service and bridging finance solutions tailored to their needs.

David brings over eight years working in the specialist lending industry, joining Hope Capital from Glenhawk.

In his new role as Business Development Manager (BDM) for Wales and the South West, David will utilise his skillset and knowledge to deliver Hope Capital’s innovative and tailored offering, while supporting clients in his region.

Ben and James join Hope Capital as Internal Business Development Executives (BDE’s), both having an extensive track record in sales positions.

At Hope Capital, they will be using their knowledge and experience to help drive the business forward and support the increased volume of enquiries the lender has experienced for its range of bridging finance products in recent months.

Roz Cawood, Director of Sales at Hope Capital, said:

“Having three new, talented sales experts join our team when we are currently experiencing a hive of activity is fantastic.

I am thrilled to have David, Ben and James onboard as we continue to expand our offering to meet the growing needs of brokers and borrowers who are turning to bridging finance.”

Hope Capital provides its range of innovative bridging finance products across England, Wales, and Scotland, with David Weir now covering Scotland, Sam Lea supporting brokers in the Central & North area, Charlie Gregory in London & the South and David Owen looking after clients in Wales & the South West.

Each BDM is fully supported by Hope Capital’s BDE’s, who assist with finding the best solution for the client.

“2022 consisted of a lot of change at Hope Capital, however it was a really exciting year and has set us up for substantial growth moving forward.

Our commitment to delivering innovative solutions and the skills and expertise of our team, coupled with their passion for delivering an excellent service, is second to none and makes me very excited about Hope Capital’s future.”
