Avamore Capital promotes two key staff

Avamore Capital has announced two senior internal promotions. Chris Newman, former Senior Underwriter, is now Head of Underwriting, taking over from Executive Director, Philip Gould and Adam Butler, previously Senior Relationship Manager is now stepping up to become Head of Sales.

The promotions will play a part in Avamore reaching its ambitious growth targets under the guidance of a high performing management team.

Both Chris and Adam joined Avamore in early 2020, starting at a particularly challenging time for the market.

Since then, they have demonstrated incredible commitment to the success of the business, acting commercially and tenaciously to get deals done in their respective roles.

The promotions come after several positive structural changes at Avamore that will play into the lender’s next phase of growth.

Avamore is a firm that has always looked to promote from within and is dedicated to creating a culture where its people can grow their careers.

He holds himself to an incredibly high standard and that sentiment has naturally spread across the team; he will no doubt continue to build on the infrastructure we have in place and shape an efficient, diligent and customer focused underwriting department.”

Chris Newman, Head of Underwriting commented:
