Together appoints head of London intermediaries

Award-winning mortgage expert Sundeep Patel, pictured, has joined Together as the specialist lender boosts its presence in central London.

He has now taken up his new role having worked for Precise Mortgages, where he was national sales manager for nearly four years.

Sundeep initially trained as a financial adviser at insurance firm Zurich before taking up the role of mortgage operations manager for CMG Advice, then as a business development manager in the intermediary market for RBS, covering London and the South East.

He joined Precise in 2015 as national sales manager for specialist accounts, where he developed the company’s brand by forging and nurturing strong relationships with key accounts, networks and clubs.

As head of London intermediaries at Together, he will be strengthening the lender’s presence in the capital, using a wealth of experience in the mortgage market to expand distribution of its specialist products to more intermediaries. He will also support the efforts of the lender’s sales teams across the country.

He said: “I’m excited to be part of the continued transformation that Together is going through in terms of growing its brand and lending proposition. There are some fantastic opportunities in the specialist lending market and it’s great to be joining such a solid and profitable business.”

Sundeep has won a host of awards during his career, including being named business development manager of the year at the prestigious Legal & General Mortgage Club awards in 2018.
