Masthaven appoints new mortgage managing director

Masthaven has appointed Matt Andrews as Managing Director, Mortgages. Matt will be joining the bank on 17th April from Bluestone Mortgages UK, where he was Managing Director. He will report into Masthaven Managing Director, Jon Hall with responsibility for the bank’s new mortgage portfolio.

Matt has 10 years of mortgage leadership experience, and 20 years in broader financial services lending. From 2015 he was Managing Director at Bluestone Mortgages; prior to that he spent five years as a CEO in Private Equity Portfolio companies specialising in financial services; previously, he was Managing Director of a Merrill Lynch Mortgage division, and also Director at Kensington Mortgages’ Direct to Consumer Operation.

Commenting on the appointment, Jon Hall, Managing Director of Masthaven, said:

“We’re delighted that Matt has chosen to join Masthaven at such an exciting point in our history. We have had a busy and successful first three months, raising retail deposits and continuing with our second charge, bridging and development finance lending. Matt’s appointment will provide another layer of expertise as we expand our mortgage range this year.”
