Commercial Finance industry joins forces to raise £60,000 for cancer stricken colleague

United Kingdom, 05 April 2019 – The Commercial Finance industry has pulled together to help raise £60,000 for Shawbrook Regional Development Manager – Lee Albino – who was recently diagnosed with cancer.

Industry stalwart Lee received the devastating diagnosis only a few weeks ago when a tumour caused his leg to break above the knee resulting in the loss of his leg at the hip. He now faces 6 months of intensive chemotherapy before his long journey towards rehabilitation begins.

Gavin Seaholme, Head of Sales at Shawbrook Commercial Property and Phil Gray, Managing Director of Watts Commercial Finance subsequently set up a JustGiving page in the hope of raising the £60,000 Lee requires to aid his rehabilitation and cover the cost of an extra special prosthetic leg.

Marc Champ of Bespoke Business Finance has planned a charity golf event which will take place at Stapleford Abbots Golf Club in Essex next month while Phil and the team at Watts Commercial Finance are climbing Snowdon in July to raise further money towards Lee’s fundraising target.
