As Nigel Alexander explains, “The image and theme are there to raise a smile from our visitors, as bridging finance can be quite a dry subject. But we are making a serious point. As bridging finance has become more accepted as a mainstream form of lending, so the number of bridging loan companies has increased exponentially. Worryingly for the industry, many of these ‘new kids on the block’ have not got the experience to know how to lend on the right deals which can undermine the reputation of the industry. At Fincorp, the senior managers have on average 20 years of lending experience with residential property – and there are few in the industry who can say that; so our clients know they’re in safe hands.
