We speak to Business Development Manager, Wayne Lee:
What is the best thing about being in the bridging finance business?
No two days are the same, it’s fast paced and I love finding the right solution for a client. It’s a nice buzz to see a deal complete.
What keeps you focused?
The desire to offer the best possible service to my brokers and direct clients.
What qualities do you look for in your employees or colleagues?
Honesty, team ethic and the ability to have fun.
Are you an optimist or a pessimist?
Depends on my mood but mostly an optimist.
What did you want to be as a child?
A pilot.
What will be the greatest challenge facing the bridging finance industry in the coming months?
The constant pressure to offer lower rates, increased competition and of course Brexit although I don’t know why as I think we should have more faith in our ability as a country to pull together and make a success of it.
Who or what makes you laugh?
I’m fortunate to spend an awful lot of time laughing, but my best mate “Egghead” never fails to make me laugh.
Do you dread Monday mornings?
It depends on what I have been up to at the weekend!
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
To be a bit slimmer – which I’m working on!
With whom would you most like to have dinner?
My nan, who I adored.
