What is the best thing about being in the bridging finance business?

The best thing about bridging and development is the fast pace and the variation in every deal. Not one deal is the same and it keeps you on your toes.

What keeps you focused?

Not letting my team down.

What qualities do you look for in your employees or colleagues?

We look for someone with a bit of personality, a sense of humour and a strong work ethic. My most important part is someone who works in a team.

Are you an optimist or a pessimist?

Depends on the day!

What did you want to be as a child?

I wanted to be a nurse.

What will be the greatest challenge facing the bridging finance industry in the coming months?

I think the greatest challenge will of course be Brexit – I think we will see a massive expansion in the demand for bridging during this time due to limited high street lending.

Who or what makes you laugh?

Everything makes me laugh – especially if I feel awkward.

Do you dread Monday mornings?

No – I dread Tuesdays.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

Probably my laugh – it gets me into a lot of trouble.
