The Five Minute Interview with Narinder Khattoare, Sales Director, Alpha Bridging
By Tony Sanchez
Alpha Bridging is one of the leading lenders in the bridging and short term finance market. They are known for their excellent service and ability to complete deals in a very short space of time.
We speak to sales director, Narinder Khattoare:
What is the best thing about being in the bridging finance business?
It’s definitely a very buoyant market at present, no day is ever the same and advisers and their clients are understandably shopping around for the right deal.
At Alpha Bridging we like to see ourselves as being flexible and innovative when closing deals. In the final analysis, bridging should be THE source for short term finance which is fast, hassle free and provides the means for immediate funding to be applied when and where it is needed most.
What keeps you focussed?
Existing Lenders and new lenders coming into the market, which I think is good and keeps us all on our toes!
What qualities do you look for in your employees or colleagues?
Integrity – Drive – Ambition
Are you an optimist or a pessimist?
Optimist!
What did you want to be as a child?
Football Manager! I was the original Tinkerman on Championship Manager 93-94. Then along came Claudio Ranieri who was given my name!
What will be the greatest challenge facing the bridging finance industry in the coming months?
Compliance. Ensuring that customers of every kind receive the right service and outcome that suits their purposes is our primary concern
Who or what makes you laugh?
Chelsea and Jose Mourinho at present!
Do you dread Monday mornings?
Never, I’m an early bird and always look forward to Mondays and the challenge that lies ahead.
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
My six pack – I’ve had enough of it!
With whom would you most like to have dinner?
Eric Cantona or Roy Keane – I can’t pick between the two. Both influential on and off the pitch and great role models when it came to Football – apart from the Kung Fu kick and the Stamp obviously!
