Adapt Finance are probably the best bridging finance brokers in the world. Certainly the most confident. They love bridging and it shows.

We speak to director, Jordan McBriar:

What is the best thing about being in the bridging finance business?

Being able to provide something unique. A service which not everyone can and the adulation the client has when they complete because you have assisted them.

What keeps you focussed?

Success. Wanting to grow and to be better.

What qualities do you look for in your employees or colleagues?

Passion. I want/need them to be driven by success.

Are you an optimist or a pessimist?

Optimist! 100% there is no such thing as it can’t be done.

What did you want to be as a child?

A professional footballer .

What will be the greatest challenge facing the bridging finance industry in the coming months?

Competition and interest rates. At least we are in control of half of our destiny.

Who or what makes you laugh?

People trying things that are blatantly impossible to do any maybe falling over in the process.

Do you dread Monday mornings?

Never!

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

I wouldn’t sleep.

With whom would you most like to have dinner?

My gramps (dad’s dad) as I never got chance to meet him but I know he’s just an older version of me (and my brother) and my dad so we’d have a great laugh.

Although looking at the family alcohol intake I’m not sure how much dinner would be consumed!
