What is the best thing about being in the bridging finance business?
Having worked within the space for 8 years I still love the buzz you get when trying to structure complex, time sensitive transaction – I often high five myself when things come off.
What keeps you focused?
The want to achieve everything you set out to.
What qualities do you look for in your employees or colleagues?
Honesty, passion and creativity.
Are you an optimist or a pessimist?
Optimist – life is far too short for negative thoughts.
What did you want to be as a child?
The easy answer would be sportsman.
What will be the greatest challenge facing the bridging finance industry in the coming months?
Regulation. Precise Mortgages has a principal to treat all types of lending secured on residential property in a manner consistent with FSA regulation.
Who or what makes you laugh?
Our head of marketing (Roselle Hill) when she forces me to pose in my pyjamas for the latest Precise Mortgage advertising campaign!
Do you dread Monday mornings?
No, unless my young daughter has kept me up all night
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
Sometimes my passion to succeed overspills.
