We speak to National Sales Manager, Chris Parr:
What is the best thing about being in the bridging finance business?
The ability to complete deals of all shapes and sizes while meeting introducer and customer deadlines. Having worked in various areas of finance no other has the same feel and satisfaction as working in the Short Term arena.
What keeps you focused?
Other than the spending habits of Mrs Parr, working in a constant changing and forward thinking market helps as you want to be at the forefront of market changes not behind.
What qualities do you look for in your employees or colleagues?
Honesty & hard work, the only two that matter.
Are you an optimist or a pessimist?
Optimist, we can always make it better.
What did you want to be as a child?
What will be the greatest challenge facing the bridging finance industry in the coming months?
This year will be an interesting year as the full extent of the regulation changes finally filter through and we all learn how to implement them successfully.
Who or what makes you laugh?
David Moyes after match interviews, the man is watching a different game to me.
Do you dread Monday mornings?
Only when Man United have lost (So yes more than I used to)
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
Tough one between being taller and having more hair – I will go for being taller, as hair is overrated.
