We speak to CEO, Emon Ahmed:

What is the best thing about being in the bridging finance business?

The likeminded professionals in the industry such as the brokers who share the same enthusiasms and love the thrill of the deal!

What keeps you focused?

My team of Business Developments Managers as well as my clients.

What qualities do you look for in your employees or colleagues?

Apart from academic achievements, the most important quality is loyalty to the business, the clients and their colleagues. A team of Lawyers will succeed more than one Lawyer.

This is a message we instil in every member of the business, no matter what position.

Are you an optimist or a pessimist?

Born an optimist.

What did you want to be as a child?

To follow my father’s footsteps and own lots of businesses.

What will be the greatest challenge facing the bridging finance industry in the coming months?

It has always been a challenging industry, but I believe we are in for a great future. Bridging loans are now a common avenue of lending and is more accepted by the public.

Apart from common shifts in market trend, I don’t see anything getting in the way for bridging finance to succeed more.

Who or what makes you laugh?

The Young Offenders – MUST WATCH

Do you dread Monday mornings?

Not at all, the best day of the week.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

My receding hair line.

With whom would you most like to have dinner?

Alicia Vikander.
