Peter Bolton King joins RICS

RICS has appointed Peter Bolton King, former Chief Executive of the National Federation of Property Professionals (NFoPP), as Global Residential Director.

Peter, an RICS member since 1979, joins the organisation from NFoPP where he was Group Chief Executive for almost nine years and oversaw the federation’s sales, lettings, commercial, auctions and overseas agency membership groups.

Based in RICS’ Parliament Square office, Peter will work alongside other professional group teams and will be tasked with further increasing the RICS presence in this important sector of the property profession, and promoting the role of RICS Residential globally. He will replace the out-going group director David Dalby, who will retire in July this year.

In his career to date, Peter has represented the UK property industry at the highest level on both the UK and international stages. He brings with him extensive experience of the residential and valuation sectors and has broad knowledge of overseas markets.

Prior to joining NFoPP, Peter spent five years at Bradford and Bingley as Senior Area Director and was an Area Director at Black Horse Agencies (1987-98). He was also appointed as the youngest ever salaried partner at Warwickshire-based Locke and England Chartered Surveyors in 1983.
