AXA Real Estate Investment Managers (AXA Real Estate) has secured lettings to three major retailers at its Bentley Bridge Shopping Park in Wolverhampton according to Property Funds World.
TK Maxx, a leading designer off price retailer, has taken 17,500 sq ft as well as a full cover mezzanine unit, on a 15 year lease. TK Maxx will join Next, which has signed a 10 year lease on a 12,300 sq ft unit plus a 70% cover mezzanine, and leading sports retailer, JD Sports, has taken a 5,400 sq ft unit on a 10 year lease. Following these latest lettings, the shopping park is now fully let.
Located in the Wednesfield area of Wolverhampton, Bentley Bridge Shopping Park comprises 190,000 sq ft of lettable space. Other retailers at the park include Peacocks, Laura Ashley, Sports Direct, Dorothy Perkins, Evans and Burton.
Dorrien Thomas, UK Head of Asset Management at AXA Real Estate, said:
“Securing such major retailers as TK Maxx, Next and JD Sports will further enhance the retail offer at the park, as we look to ensure it remains closely aligned with local consumer needs. These lettings are part of a wider asset management programme at the park to increase the amount of space dedicated to fashion, enhancing its status as an attractive retail destination. This will build upon the already highly successful retail trading environment at Bentley Bridge Shopping Park.”
