Zenzic Capital appoints Simon Brown to lead growing development finance offer

Zenzic Capital (“Zenzic”), the real estate credit and special situations investment manager, has appointed Simon Brown as Head of Real Estate Development Finance Lending focused on the provision of development finance for UK homebuilders.

Simon has over 20 years deal origination experience and is an expert in sourcing and structuring transactions across the capital stack.

He brings significant knowledge of the property development and investment markets to Zenzic, having held senior roles in companies including Investec and Royal Bank of Scotland. He is a Chartered Accountant and holds a BSc in Economics.

Zenzic have ambitions growth targets and has already established itself as one of the most flexible and responsive providers of finance in the UK.

Simon will be responsible for continuing to develop a strong and stable residential development loan book, ensuring the Zenzic products compete well within the market and that the service provided to the client base is ‘best in class’.

Since its foundation in 2014, Zenzic has provided significant debt finance across the capital stack, throughout the UK and Europe into a number of different sectors including logistics, student accommodation, residential, hotels and leisure.

In January, Zenzic launched a new £500 million UK purpose-built student accommodation strategy, which will invest in existing stock and develop new assets.
