VAS Group appoints first commercial director

Leading valuation market specialists, VAS Group is continuing to expend its senior management team with the appointment of Daniel Owen-Parr, pictured, to the newly created role of Commercial Director.

For VAS Panel, Owen-Parr will be responsible for maintaining and building relationships with existing lenders as well as onboarding new lenders in both the short and long term finance markets. He will also begin to promote the company’s unique proposition to the broker market.

The role will also focus on the growth of VAS Audit through existing channels and new opportunities.

He possesses over 17 years’ experience in the property finance and banking industries having held senior roles, including Head of Field Sales for Together, and Relationship Director and Senior Bank Manager for Lloyds Bank.

Owen-Parr said:

In line with growth plans, the company recently hired Ian Wimpenny to the newly created role of Technical Panel Director.
