Tuscan Capital, the short-term property finance specialist, has today (15th April 2024) announced the appointment of a new Regional Sales Director for the Midlands.

Rebecca Salt joins Tuscan in the role and will be working with firms, advisers and brokers across the entire Midlands region, supporting their short-term finance clients, enhancing and developing relationships, and providing support and resource to those who would benefit from the range of Tuscan products currently available.

Rebecca has over a decade’s experience in the commercial finance sector, starting with Aldermore Bank, before joining Bibby Financial Services, where she worked in Chicago on international assignment for two years.

Returning to the UK in 2020, Rebecca joins Tuscan Capital from StreamBank, where she was recently working its bridging market team.

Reporting to Tuscan’s Sales Director, Jaxon Stevens, Rebecca will be working out of Tuscan’s Birmingham office.

The lender also has regional offices in Manchester, as well as its London head office.

Rebecca’s appointment follows the recent announcement of Katie Wilsher-Garratt as Tuscan’s new Regional Sales Director for the Home Counties, and the lender said this was part of its overall sales team restructure, designed to provide wider support to broker and intermediary partners across the country.

Last month, Tuscan launched a new-look refurbishment facility as a further addition to its range of property finance products.

Through the facility, developers are able to secure funding up to 100% of build costs and 70% of purchase price, with pricing starting at 0.48% per month over Bank Base Rate.

Tuscan Capital provides non-regulated bridging finance to the residential, commercial, semi-commercial, HMO and mixed-use real estate sectors in England and Wales.

Jaxon Stevens, Sales Director at Tuscan Capital, commented:

“The Midlands is a very important region for us as a lender, with a considerable amount of development taking place, and we have a growing number of business relationships in the area which require someone with vast experience and a very high skillset that can help us deliver for advisers and their clients.

We are therefore very pleased to announce Rebecca’s appointment as she has those qualities, and more.

She is already very well-known and well-versed in the Midlands, and I’m sure she will be of considerable benefit to all those she deals with, as Tuscan grows our sales team and our footprint right across the country.”

Rebecca Salt, Regional Sales Director – the Midlands at Tuscan Capital, said:

“I’m very pleased to be joining Tuscan as its new Midlands’ Regional Sales Director, where I’ll be highlighting not just our product proposition, but our fast-track process, to advisers and firms who have clients active in the area.

There has been a considerable boost to both commercial and residential development in the Midlands recently, and this is set to continue into the future, so I’ll be working with firms to show how Tuscan’s strong range of short-term property finance can meet the needs of landlords and developers, and their ongoing projects.”
