Roma Finance bolsters business development with new appointments and promotions

Roma Finance, has appointed Amer Watson and Shahed Popat as business development managers as its first action in 2024.

Amer, who joins from MS Lending, has a wealth of expertise in the financial services market and has spent the last five years of his career within the bridging lending space. Amer will cover Yorkshire, the Northeast and Scotland and is the perfect choice for this essential role.

Shahed, joins Roma from Blue Square Capital with five years experience in the specialist property finance market.

Previously of West One, Shahed will be the business development manager for the Southeast and London and his skill set and experience are perfectly aligned for this opportunity.

As Amer and Shahed join the business, Roma is delighted to announce that Claudine Reynolds and Alan Collins will move into relationship management roles to focus on partnerships and growing business with affiliates.
