OSB Group, the award-winning specialist lender & savings bank reveals charity partner update on support.
OSB Group began their partnership with Depaul UK in March 2022, assisting the charity to support young people facing homelessness across the UK.
During that time OSB Group have provided over £130,000 in funding as well as non-financial support via volunteering, mentoring, career advice, and much more.
Founded in 1989, Depaul UK work in local communities across the country to prevent and relieve the impact of homelessness on people’s lives.
Prioritising young people, who are among the most vulnerable in society, the charity’s passion is to support young people at risk, especially those who have previously had traumatic experiences.
OSB Group employees have collectively achieved over 7,000 hours of volunteering across 2024, some of which has directly benefited Depaul UK such as organising office wear for interviews, decorating at Depaul UK locations and supporting service users with CV assistance and interview preparation.
Neil Richardson, Chief Sustainability Officer, OSB Group said:
“Providing the amount of fundraising as well as the non-financial support shows the strength of commitment from everyone at OSB Group and our people have shown such pride in giving something back to the causes they care most about.
We strive to encourage a sense of pride in community both inside and outside of the workplace, and this goes some way to making OSB Group a great place to work.
The over 7,000 completed volunteer hours in 2024 is testament to that.”
Chrissie Reed, Corporate Development Manager, Depaul UK said:
“Depaul UK is delighted to be continuing our partnership with OSB Group in 2025 and look forward to another fantastic year of collaboration, helping us to continue our mission to transform lives and help young people leave homelessness behind for good.
Together, we have already achieved so much and we can’t wait to see what we can accomplish in the year ahead!”.
