A property finance specialist is set to expand its reach in the broker market with the appointment of a Head of Broker Relations.

MSP Capital has promoted team member Arian Manouchehri into the newly created role after a successful year as Senior Analyst.

Martin Higgins, the firm’s Managing Director, said:

“Broker-introduced business has grown considerably at MSP Capital over the past year and continues to go from strength to strength.

The creation of this new role is a first for us and reflects our ambition to focus still further on enhancing our presence within the broker network.

Arian is a perfect fit because of his can-do attitude, tenacity and drive, and his ability to form strong and lasting relationships with brokers who need both development and bridging finance for their clients.

At this incredibly exciting time for MSP, I am confident our broker relations activities will grow with record pace.”

Having spent his early years helping in his father’s construction business, and later training as a Chartered Accountant, Arian has now worked in the property and finance industries for many years.

He has a degree in Management from the London School of Economics and Political Science and his post-graduate career began at a ‘big four’ accounting firm working in the investment management and private equity industries.

He has extensive experience in debt structuring and specialises in helping brokers to create simple solutions to complex funding requirements, so securing the best solution for their clients.

Arian Manouchehri, pictured, said:

“As MSP Capital’s first ever Head of Broker Relations, my focus is all about adding long-term value to existing and new relationships.

We are well-known for our entrepreneurial lending approach and having strong relationships with both clients and brokers alike.

We lend money based on sound underwriting logic rather than a bureaucratic approach that otherwise plagues the market, and we always try to find solutions and a way forward for the client.

It’s an exciting time for MSP with significant opportunities ahead.”

Arian’s appointment is the latest in a series of hires and promotions at MSP Capital with the team growing by around 50% over the past year.

Additions to the finance, legal and underwriting departments underline Team MSP’s increasing strengths within the property finance market.

Among the new employees is Steve Wilson, Business Development Manager, who is tasked with accelerating growth in the Bristol, Bath and Cotswolds regions.

With over 36 years spent working for a top five high street bank, Steve is seen as an ideal fit for the experienced underwriting team.

Another addition is experienced commercial solicitor Neil Woolgar. As Legal Director, Neil heads a new legal department, increasing MSP Capital’s technical expertise to ultimately deliver a better service to clients.
