ModaMortgages announces new head of sales and two new BDMs
ModaMortgages has announced Scott Phillips as its new head of sales. The specialist buy-to-let (BTL) lender has also hired Becki Fraser-Tucker as a senior business development manager (BDM), while Bec Murray joins as a BDM.
Launching in the coming months, ModaMortgages is a new intermediary-only BTL mortgage provider from Chetwood Financial, a Wrexham-based digital bank.
Darrell Walker was recently unveiled as ModaMortgages’ head of mortgage sales and distribution. Alongside Ian Lonergan, who was previously CEO and founder of Charter Court Financial Services, the parent of Precise Mortgages, and is now group chair of Chetwood, Walker has been developing the ModaMortgages proposition over the past year.
As head of sales, Phillips will oversee the lender’s field-based team of BDMs. He has 25 years’ experience in financial services, including roles as a national account manager at Vida Homeloans, Hampshire Trust Bank (HTB), and OneSavings Bank (OSB).
Fraser-Tucker has similarly worked across a range of national account manager and BDM positions, including roles with OSB, Bank of Ireland, and HTB.
Meanwhile, Murray previously spent over 16 years with HSBC, firstly as a mortgage and protection adviser before progressing to area mortgage manager responsible for advisers and advice.
The two will manage broker relationships across the UK and assist Phillips in growing the BDM team.
