Market Harborough appoints new National Account Manager

Following the recent announcement that it achieved a record-lending year in 2023, specialist lender Market Harborough Building Society has appointed Stacey-Leigh Wood as its new National Account Manager.

Stacey, who has more than 20 years experience in the mortgage industry, will join Market Harborough’s Mortgage Sales Team to focus on building even stronger relationships with mortgage club and network partners.

Commenting on her new appointment, Stacey said:

“I’m delighted to join the successful team at MHBS, which continues to go from strength to strength, to help deliver their ambitious growth plans.

I’ll be working collaboratively with distribution partners, sharing our specialist lending solutions with more brokers and making it even easier to do business with us.

It’s great to be back at a mutual building society with values aligned to my own, putting their customers first and giving back to the community with their unique Thrive agenda.”

Stacey has held roles at Coventry Building Society, Aviva, Sesame, and most recently Vida HomeLoans where she was National Account Manager.

In another positive move for the team, Christopher Thompson has been promoted to the role of Head of Sales.

will lead the Society’s specialist business development managers who are based across the country. Both Christopher and Stacey will report to Head of Mortgage Distribution, Iain Smith who recently joined the Society.
