Goldentree announces senior promotions

Goldentree Financial Services has announced a series of key promotions, reinforcing its commitment to recognising and nurturing talent within the organisation.

Alex Townley (pictured above, right) has been appointed as the new Head of Portfolio Management, following a highly successful tenure as Property Development Manager.

With over 20 years of experience in the banking sector, Alex has played a pivotal role at Goldentree since joining in 2019.

His deep understanding of the construction process and strong leadership skills make him well-equipped to take on this expanded responsibility.

In his new role, Alex will oversee Goldentree’s loan book, currently valued at £110m, and lead a team of eight, including Property Development Managers and Administration Managers.

Alex said:

“I’m really looking forward to taking on this new role.

It will give me a great opportunity to strengthen my underwriting and management skills.

I have a fantastic team supporting me in this transition and I cannot wait to bring some positive changes to the business.”

Goldentree has also promoted Gayle Taylor (pictured above, centre) to Recoveries Director.

Gayle has successfully managed the Property Development Managers as Head of Portfolio Management for the previous 10 years. Gayle has over 38 years banking experience in various sectors of banking

Additionally, Goldentree welcomes Sam Oldfield (pictured above, right) to the team as a Property Development Manager, reinforcing its commitment to strategic growth and excellence in client service.
