D&R Partners Recruitment has celebrated its first-year anniversary by hiring three graduate employees and due to the expansion securing a larger office based in the centre of Spitalfields, London.

The specialist lending recruitment agency said the three graduates – Oliver Hampson, Emily Donkin, and James Patterson – would help grow and develop the business into a household name within the lending market moving into 2022.

“By the second quarter of this year, D&R had built an impressive team of experienced Recruitment Consultants,” founder and sales director Rico Iheagwara, pictured, said.

“We have continuously exceeded targets and experienced several record-breaking months. With no signs of slowing down, and a strong final quarter impending we decided now was the time to grow and enter a new phase of expansion.

We decided to hire graduate employees as I want to train the future of D&R from the grassroots.”

Rico said one of the keys to achieving month-on-month growth was another hire – that of experienced specialist lending consultant Naomi Little.

“It really took the pressure off me. With her knowledge and support, I have been able to concentrate on expanding the business,” he said.

These moves included acquiring the specialist lending division of rival Boxtree back in May.

The new graduate hires take the D&R team to eight with plans to almost double that number over the next 12-24 months.

“Once we have bedded in the new starters, we will be looking for another Senior Consultant to join the ranks come January,” Little said. “We are then looking for 4 more consultants to join the team throughout 2022.”

Already a recognised and successful headhunting agency within specialist lending, D&R has also set its sights on conquering the wider mortgage market moving into the first charge Market.

Little added that D&R is set to surpass their business targets by the end of this quarter and hopes to enter 2022 with a strong presence. “We are incredibly proud of our success this year and as determined as ever to break records,” she said.
