Avamore Capital has further expanded its origination team and appointed its first Internal relationship manager.

Sophia Lee, pictured, has joined from Cynergy Bank and brings a new element to Avamore’s customer facing department.

This addition follows a raft of hires in 2021 with a further announcement around departmental expansion set to be shared in Q3.

Sophia’s primary focus will be on developing broker partnerships across the Avamore database and building the brand with people and networks that Avamore does not have a historic relationships with.

Her role will be integral to helping Avamore reach its ambitious growth targets for the year and her fresh perspective and approach will bring a new dynamic to the origination team.

Notably, Sophia will be able to deliver an impressive customer experience having been involved in development transactions from start to finish in her former role.

Her forward thinking and ability to identify potential challenges early on will allow her to demonstrate Avamore’s ability to act as a safe pair of hands for new cases.

As Avamore’s presence expands in a growing industry, it becomes increasingly important to service more and more broker partners.

Sophia will be integral in delivering the lender’s core message, keeping as many people as possible updated on product changes and developments.

This comes following announcements that the £300M+ lender has now completed deals in Manchester, Cardiff and Leicestershire as part of its commitment to servicing more of southern and central England.

Having spent 2 years at Natwest as an assistant relationship manager and subsequently managing her own portfolio of clients at Cynergy Bank, Sophia will bring a different perspective into the team after making the move from regulated banks to a more nimble specialist lender.

In addition to having already completed a Professional Banking Certificate, Sophia is currently working towards her CeMap qualification which will bring further knowledge to the Avamore team.

Sophia commented

“I am excited to be stepping into a brand new role at Avamore, and am committed to show the importance of the position along with the value that I can add.

Avamore is a young and ambitious company and their sentiments match my own ethos. I always think it’s important to work in an organisation where you believe in the goals; Avamore has an extremely competitive offering backed by an excellent team with a huge amount of experience.

Not only am I looking forward to supporting the relationship managers, but I am eager to become a champion of the organisation and deliver solutions that really work.”

Adam Butler, Relationship Manager commented:

“Sophia is going to bring new energy to the origination team at Avamore.

As we grow, her position will be integral in expanding our outreach and she will be fundamental in unlocking new areas and relationships across southern and central England.

Her previous experience puts her in an excellent position to deliver outstanding service to new customer and her drive and enthusiasm means that she will be making an impact from day 1.

We look forward to seeing how Sophia moulds this new role and adds value to the Avamore team.”
