Gatehouse Bank announces key home finance hire

Gatehouse Bank has announced the appointment of Karen Faulkner, pictured, to the key role of Head of Home Finance Operations.

Reporting to Tim Blease, COO at Gatehouse Bank, Karen will be based in the Bank’s Milton Keynes office and, via her team of case managers and underwriters, is responsible for the customer application journey, through to the release of funds.

Prior to joining Gatehouse, Karen worked at Mortgage Brain, as Lender Development Manager, where she was responsible for developing and managing relationships between the mortgage software solutions provider and 25 mortgage lenders.

Karen brings over 35 years of financial service experience to her new role having worked with a number of leading brands including Connells and Skipton Group.

Commenting on Karen’s appointment, Tim Blease, Chief Operating Officer at Gatehouse Bank, commented:
