Hampshire Trust Bank (HTB) is to hold a second Development Finance Masterclass, following the resounding success of the inaugural event last year.

The next masterclass will take place on Wednesday 8th May at Cloud 23 in Manchester.

It follows an overwhelmingly positive response to the previous masterclass, held in September last year in central London, with clear demand for similar events held across the country.

The masterclass is specially designed for brokers with some level of experience in development finance but who want to expand their knowledge and understanding.

The masterclass offers intermediaries the chance to learn from industry experts, take part in insightful discussions about development finance, and network with peers from across the sector.

Speakers at the Manchester event will include:

  • Alex Upton, managing director of development finance, Hampshire Trust Bank

  • Uliana Kuzmis, deputy managing director of development finance, Hampshire Trust Bank

  • Blane Perrotton, founder and managing director of surveying practice Pride Consulting IMS

The team at HTB will send invitations in the following weeks.

Alex Upton, managing director of development finance at Hampshire Trust Bank, said:

“The response to our first Development Finance Masterclass last year demonstrated the interest from brokers in gaining a better understanding of this sector, so I’m delighted that we are going to be holding further masterclass sessions this year, starting in Manchester.

The feedback to the initial event was incredibly positive, with attendees feeling more confident and comfortable working with development finance cases, as well as leaving with a range of new contacts from across the sector.

This is a really exciting time for the development industry, with clear demand from developers looking to build homes across the country.

We are committed to working closely with brokers in supporting those developers with their projects, and events like our masterclass in Manchester are a fantastic way of doing so.”
