Stretton Capital names new Head of Underwriting

Stretton Capital, the Chester based, privately funded short term lender has promoted Natalie Smethurst, pictured, to Head of Underwriting.

Natalie previously held the role of Underwriter and this promotion reflects the enormous contribution she has made to the business during her time in the business.

Natalie said:

“I am absolutely delighted to be moving into a new role with Stretton Capital as we continue to grow our business.

I will still be heavily involved in the underwriting process but my new responsibilities will include looking at our whole operating process and procedures to ensure we continue to provide a slick, compliant and hassle free service to our brokers and borrowers”.

Natalie added:

“We are currently recruiting on both the processing and sales sides of our business so it is an exciting time for me personally and for Stretton Capital”

Late last year, Stretton – which is privately funded by an UHNW family – appointed experienced industry specialist Mark Harrison to spearhead it’s origination process.
