Kim McGinley commented:
“The launch of the Specialist Finance Academy represents a significant step forward for broker education.
Specialist finance has often been seen as too complicated, but my mission is to break down barriers and create a supportive community for brokers to thrive.
With the help of our incredible partners, I believe we can truly change the landscape of specialist finance education.”
The SFA has already garnered support from key industry players, who have provided their insights and endorsements:
Richard Deacon, Octane Capital said:
“Octane are delighted to support Kim with the launch of the Specialist Finance Academy.
The relationship we have built up with Kim over the years convinces us that this will be nothing other than a huge success.
Education, support, and mentoring is a big passion of ours at Octane, and if we can assist Kim and her team in order to reach a much wider audience, then it is something we will do without hesitation.”
Michael Mann, Broker Business Development Director, Allica Bank added:
“We are proud to support this fantastic initiative aimed at enhancing broker education and supporting new entrants to the market.
The specialist mortgage sector has long faced challenges due to a lack of education and community representation.
We believe this Academy will not only help develop new talent, but also give brokers the confidence and resources they need to thrive.
Partnering with Kim on the Specialist Finance Academy is something we are incredibly proud of, and we look forward to seeing this community grow.”
Shane Chawatama, Knowledge Bank said:
“What Kim is doing with the SFA will provide much-needed support for brokers looking to expand into new territory.
It simply felt right as a business to partner with the SFA and work with the team to educate brokers.
Being the criteria sourcing system of choice, brokers can look forward to sourcing criteria across seven lending types and from the widest criteria set available.
The added bonus of Notify will especially help the brokers as they develop relationships with lenders.”
