Martin Smedley, Director at Prospero, discusses the company’s background and joining Shawbrook’s Strategic Broker Panel:

“Prospero Finance were formed in April 2016 to specifically provide a quality service to customers in the residential and commercial property investment market.

Although the company is relatively young we have worked tirelessly over the past 2 years and are excited to have reached one of our key milestone targets in 2018 by becoming one of Shawbrook Bank’s Strategic Partners.

Our business growth relies on numerous factors – one of these is having a solid relationship with lenders. Shawbrook have proved time after time that they offer a quality service that enables us to complete not only the simplest transaction but more importantly the cases that require a little more outside of the box nurturing.

The team at Prospero Finance have over 30 years’ experience in the mortgage packaging arena and still find it refreshing to work with a lender whose ethos to work with introducers by providing a quality, and often bespoke service, is unparalleled.

Over the next few months we will be welcoming back some familiar faces to the business in readiness to expand our service, including opening up channels to provide the introducer market with access to Shawbrook’s products.
