RICS qualification for BLG’s Charlie Latimer

Business Lending Group (BLG), the Development Finance lender, today announced that Charlie Latimer, the youngest member of its New Business Team, has successfully completed his MRICS qualification and is now a fully qualified Chartered Planning and Development Surveyor.

Announcing this achievement, Peter Wade, Chairman of BLG, said:

“BLG believes and invests in young talent; we applaud Charlie for achieving his MRICS designation which takes many years of study and practical experience to attain. This membership not only provides Charlie with an internationally recognised professional qualification, it also provides BLG’s customers comfort that they have access to individuals who maintain exemplary standards expected by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.”

Commenting on his qualification Charlie Latimer, Chartered Planning and Development Surveyor said:

“It feels amazing to qualify as a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. This has been over 5 years of hard work: I have completed a 3 year RICS accredited degree course, over 550 days ‘on the job’ experience, over 200 hours of CPD and undertaken my Final Assessment of Professional Competence presentation and interview.

I am very thankful to BLG for supporting me; although the team has other MRICS qualified members, I am the first employee to go through training while working for them. I am extremely pleased to have achieved my goal; it is exciting to help get things built, I help BLG’s developers to take a building on plan and make it grow into reality – that is what inspires me.”
