OneOneSavings Bank today announces a number of new appointments across its Kent Reliance, InterBay Commercial, and Prestige Finance brands in a move to extend its reach across the UK and build closer relationships with intermediaries and corporate partners.

Kent Reliance has hired four new Senior Business Development Managers, adding to its intermediary presence across the UK.

James Forth and Helen McKinney both join from Virgin Money and will be responsible for growing the brand’s footprint in the North and Midlands respectively. These new hires follow the recent appointment of Simon Wilson and Andy Williams, both from Nationwide for Intermediaries. Simon will cover London and within the M25, while Andy will focus on the South.

Scott Phillips has also joined as a National Account Manager and will be responsible for Kent Reliance’s relationship with its mortgage distribution partners, working alongside Becki Fraser as part of the team looking after corporate relationships.

The four new Senior Business Development Managers and the National Account team report to Steve Seal who joined from Virgin Money in January. Steve was appointed to the newly created role of Head of National Accounts and will be responsible for leading and developing the distribution strategy as Kent Reliance looks to support its continuing growth within the intermediary mortgage market.

Adrian Moloney, Sales Director at OneSavings Bank said:

“These key hires are a statement of intent, bolstering the team to expand our intermediary network across the UK. All bring with them a deep industry knowledge and wealth of contacts in these regions. We already had an outstanding sales team and these hires reinforce our commitment to the intermediary market and our focus on the quality of the service we provide to advisers and their clients.”

In addition to these new appointments, OneSavings Bank has enhanced its sales and relationship management team across its InterBay Commercial and Prestige Finance brands, with the appointment of Darrell Walker to the newly created role of Head of Sales – Second Charge & Commercial Lending. Darrell will retain responsibility for Prestige’s intermediary relationships but will also lead the InterBay Commercial sales team and key partners.

In a further move to broaden its presence in the Second Charge market, Prestige Finance is also delighted to announce the appointment of Karen Rodrigues as their new National Account Manager. Karen switches to Prestige Finance after three years with Kent Reliance, where she was responsible for Business Development and Account Management amongst national intermediary networks, clubs and packagers.

Adrian Moloney, continued:

“The inclusion of InterBay Commercial within Darrell’s remit makes perfect sense for providing a comprehensive and aligned approach to our second charge and commercial lending propositions for intermediaries. Darrell has achieved a great deal in his time at Prestige Finance and, while the brands remain very much separate entities they will both benefit from his drive and vision.

“Darrell will be ably supported by Karen’s move to Prestige. She brings with her a huge amount of knowledge and experience, in particular with master brokers and packagers, putting her in good stead as she looks to maintain the momentum of Prestige Finance at a particularly interesting time for the second charge market.”
