MS Lending Group has recorded its best month ever boosted by big property deals in London.

The Cheshire-based lender, which launched in January 2021, said August had been a record month both in terms of volume of cases along with amount lent.

The company completed £15 million of loans last month consisting of 35 transactions.

This included a £2.7million loan on an International College in Barking, East London that was purchased for £6 million, and a £3.3 million loan against an £8 million property in Hampstead, North London.

It has now lent £65 million since launch.

Managing Director, Rob Goodall said:

‘I am immensely proud of what the team have been able to achieve this month.

Challenged with it being peak holiday season, and the business also going through a transition regarding funding lines and new recruits, the attention to detail and diligence in the way the team have worked has been incredible to see.’

The company has a new Relationship Manager set to start next week and is currently recruiting for 4 more roles.

Last month it also secured an initial £50 million senior-secured facility with alternative investment asset manager Pollen Street Capital.

Michael Stratton, chief executive added:

‘The uptake in our product offering and receptiveness from our clients and brokers to understand and appreciate the way we work has been so refreshing.

We still feel we are only just getting started and are already focusing on 2023 and how we can continue to deliver the best service.’
