Duncan Kreeger, co-founder of West One Loans, is leaving the company.

Danny Waters, chief executive of Enra Group, which owns master broker Enterprise Finance as well as West One said:

“Duncan has made an enormous contribution to West One, not only in its creation, but also in helping successfully integrate the West One business into the Group over the last two years. In that time, West One has grown exponentially, with the Group’s loan book now exceeding £350M, and we have strengthened the management through integration with the Group and strategic hires.

With West One well-placed for the future, Duncan now feels that the time is right to focus on other interests. On behalf of the business, I’d like to thank him for all the work he’s done, and we wish him well as he looks towards new business opportunities in other sectors.”

Duncan Kreeger said:

“It was always my intention to step away from the business following West One’s successful integration with the group in 2014. Now is the right time to complete this transition, and for me to step down and focus on my wider business interests. I would like to thank all the people at West One for their hard work and contribution to the development of the business over the years.”

Stephen Wasserman, pictured, managing director of West One Loans said:

“Duncan has been a close friend and colleague since we established the business all those years ago. Since then he’s helped build West One Loans into one of the leading lenders in the bridging finance sphere. While I’m sad to see him go, I understand his desire to find a new challenge and wish him all the best in the future. He leaves behind a strong business in good health, and I look forward to continuing the great work we started together.”
