Leading property crowdfunding platform Property Partner has recruited a top digital marketing expert to further boost its market share, as the fintech start-up prepares to expand tenfold this year.
Gareth Griffiths, whose background is in disruptive technologies, started this month in the role of Vice-President Marketing, responsible for amplifying the brand’s proposition as both a crowdfunder in residential property and unique trading exchange.
Before joining Property Partner, Gareth spent three and half years as Digital Marketing Director at exclusive members-only travel club Secret Escapes, where he helped the UK-based business expand into 13 countries and built up the marketing team from one to 32.
Gareth has also held senior management positions at TV company Bid Shopping and estate agents Chase Buchanan, and the role of Chief Marketing Officer at an online fashion start-up.
Property Partner enables any investor, big or small, to purchase shares in tenanted residential properties across the UK for as little as £50, without any of the hassle associated with traditional buy-to-let. Unlike any of its competitors, Property Partner operates a secondary market where investors can trade their shares through the platform.
Dan Gandesha, CEO of Property Partner, comments:
“We’re delighted to welcome Gareth to the team. Alongside our expert property specialists, we are confident he will help us reach the next stage of our rapid growth and to ultimately become a global property stock exchange. Gareth’s experience and specialist digital skills will bring added firepower to our marketing division.”
Gareth Griffiths, new Vice President Marketing at Property Partner, adds:
“I’m joining at an exciting time. I’ve been watching Property Partner with increasing interest over the past year since it launched, and the backing from heavy-hitter investors such as Ed Wray and venture capitalist Index Ventures gave me confidence this was a company that was going places.”
