Clever Lending, the specialist distributor, has announced the four specialist lenders participating at their upcoming forums.

The lenders announced are: Masthaven Bank, Shawbrook Bank, Kensington Mortgages and MT Finance. Brokers and intermediaries attending the forums will have the opportunity to learn more about each lenders’ criteria to see how they can help to open new doors for brokers to expand their service provision for a wider range of customers who don’t fit the mainstream.

There will also be a specialist lending presentation by Robert Barnard of Pepper Money, as well as a keynote speech by Robert Sinclair, Chief Executive of the Association of Mortgage Intermediaries (AMI). Mark Dryden of 360Dotnet, will present on the impact of new technology on the mortgage market.

The three events are to be held at:

Wednesday 2nd May at Kempton Park

Tuesday 15th May at the Coventry Ricoh Arena

Tuesday 12th June at Haydock Park Race Course

They will start at 0930 and a free lunch will be provided.

The events are for brokers open to looking at new solutions who may have done the occasional specialist case but would benefit from further broadening their knowledge on solutions and offerings.

With many brokers still focusing on standard lenders, they are missing out on many cases that aren’t catered for by High Street lenders. By developing a new suite of solutions for a wider variety of customer profiles, brokers will be able to help many more customers find the finance they need for their homes or business, even if the customer requirement is an unusual one that doesn’t fit the usual products.

Paul Day, pictured, Sales Development Director, Clever Lending said:

“I’m delighted that these four specialist lenders are participating in our forums. They are major players in the lending market and will be able to assist brokers to be aware of different solutions for hard to place cases such as those for the self-employed, commercial funding, bridging finance and second charges.

“Opening up new opportunities for intermediaries is vital for them to grow and develop their businesses and we will provide round table discussions about the latest situations, products and cases where new solutions can be considered.”
