Assetz promotes two Regional Directors

Peer-to-peer lender Assetz Capital has promoted both John Hewitt, pictured above, and Mark Standley to Regional Directors as the firm looks to boost its recruitment efforts in the UK regions.

John, who previously worked at Bank of Scotland for 25 years, specialising in Sales and Service, heads up the Scotland, North East, Northern Ireland and Isle of Man territories. Having been at Assetz for nearly two years, John manages a team of eight located across the regions from the firm’s Edinburgh office, and has been heavily involved in the finance and re-finance of renewable energy projects.

Mark works remotely in the South, leading a team of Relationship Directors with business responsibility for London, Southern England, South Wales and the South West. Previous roles include Branch Manager for Handelsbanken in Cardiff/Bridgend, as well as Business Development Director for Barclays Corporate Banking.

In their new roles, both John and Mark will recruit, line manage and develop the Relationship Directors in their given areas, whilst continuing to support their own established commercial relationships. As experienced deal makers, John and Mark will be focused on delivering excellence in execution across their teams, retaining a high level of confidence among professional introducers.
