Amicus continues to grow on all fronts

Amicus the London based, 2015 Bridging Lender of the Year, reports that its 2015/16 plans for growth are ahead of expectation.

The company had record performance figures for July. Completions totaled over £39m in value and with 55 individual cases both figures are monthly records for the lender who this year has repeatedly shown its intentions to be a leader in the market over the long term.

The company acknowledges that continued growth cannot be sustained without the acquisition of quality experienced staff and they recently welcomed Anita Kirkbright and Gareth Ward to their growing team.

Anita joins Amicus as Operations Manager, the role she held at West One, before joining Amicus. She has 11 year’s experience in the short term lending sector.

Anita comments;

“It was a difficult decision to leave West One where I enjoyed four happy and exciting years but the opportunity to join a lender who the whole sector now sees as the new shining light was too good to turn down and I am really looking forward to contributing to the expansion plans they have in place for the next three years”.

Gareth, who joins as a senior underwriter, has held senior positions at seven lenders during his 30 years in lending, most recently at Castle Trust where he held a similar position.

Gareth comments;

“With my experience you get a feel for which lenders are making the right impressions in the market and having followed the rise of Amicus in the last three years I am delighted to have joined what I believe to be the most experienced and open minded team of underwriters I have worked with. I am relishing the fact that clients are in direct contact with us and we have mandates to satisfy their requirements”.
