Aldermore materials handling team strengthened

Linda HideAldermore Asset Finance has strengthened its specialist materials handling team with the promotion of Linda Hide to the role of Business Development Manager covering Southern England.

Based in the South, Linda reports to Andrew Woodward, Head of Materials Handling and will manage new and existing manufacturer and dealer relationships. The materials handling team provide finance advice to manufacturers, distributors and small and medium sized businesses about the sale and purchase of materials handling equipment, such as forklift trucks and automated warehouse vehicles.

Linda joined Aldermore in 2010 and has more than 20 years experience of working in asset finance, with the past 15 years being spent in the materials handling sector. Prior to joining Aldermore, Linda worked for twelve years at Barclays Mercantile and eleven years at Albury Asset Rentals.

Andrew Woodward, Head of Materials Handling at Aldermore, said: “I’m delighted that Linda has taken-on the role of Business Development Manager for the South. Linda has an extensive knowledge of the market and has developed a large number of professional relationships and a strong reputation in the materials handling sector.
